Magneto’s revolution was fine; all men seek power in their own ways. It was not Omega Red’s revolution and if the Genoshans hadn’t interfered it wouldn’t be Omega Red’s fight either. But foolishly the Genoshans had tried to force Omega Red to bow down to their command, to enslave him to serve them like some lackey. Omega Red was NO MAN’s lackey! There were the sounds of fighting coming from several places. While Omega Red enjoyed a good fight and was not one to shirk a battle, he had his own desire, his own mission now. A face, one that he would never forget was burned into his mind’s eye. A man that he would now hunt down to the ends of the earth and make pay for the insult of trying to subjugate Omega Red and for placing him in that dreaded cryogenic hibernation chamber.

While he could rage and rampage around the country, it would likely be a fruitless endeavor if he didn’t have help. He needed someone, anyone really, that had some knowledge of Genosha and what was going on. Hell, Omega Red didn’t even know when it was, he had no idea how long he had been in cryo and so didn’t even know what day it was or even what season or what year. But in the end that didn’t matter. All that mattered at this point was hunting down and taking his revenge out on the man who tried to make him a slave. For that he would need one of Magneto’s Brotherhood.

Omega Red looked across the faces of those gathering around Magneto’s banner, those that were responding to his rallying cry of revolution, and those who seemed to already be a part of his Brotherhood. Omega Red’s coils writhed about his wrists in agitation and eagerness for vengeance. That one he thought to himself. She looked strong, determined, and there seemed to be a certain set to her eyes, they had the look of a predator to them. He liked that. That was what Omega Red needed, a khishchnik*, hopefully one with a hunger/desire that he could use for his own purposes.

The large Russian moved over to the khishchnik*, his coils withdrawing back into his wrists. He spoke in his thick Russian accent trying to get the khishchnik’s* attention. “Brotherhood,” he said not knowing what to call them, but looking directly at Fracture. “How are you called?” he asked, not wanting to start off with pissing them off. Their anger would better serve his purposes if directed at others. “I would seek your… what is the word… sotrudnichestvo**,” he struggled for a moment to try and phrase things how he wanted.

With a shrug of his big armored shoulders, he continued on, not bothering with trying to figure out just the right word. Words had never been his strong point anyways. “I would okhota, HUNT a man,” he said thickly. Omega Red gave a meaningful look over to the other buildings at the Genoshan prison. “Do you khochu mstit', desire vengeance? Or seek to free more of your brothers and sisters?” he asked trying to align this Brotherhood’s purpose with his own and trying to use the terms he remembered hearing Magneto use before. “If you would pomogi mne, aid me. I would retaliate in your purpose,” he told her, not realizing that he was using the wrong word and that in English the word would be reciprocate, not retaliate.

Brotherhood
With the generator down that controlled the mutant suppresion field, Ari was itching for more of a fight. She enjoyed tearing things apart; not mindlessly. She'd leave things like that for Juggernaut, or some of the members of the Brotherhood with less than...average...intellectual capacities. No, she wanted to pay people back for the indignities with which she'd suffered - and she wanted to help free other mutants. Others who didn't realize that this was the wrong life to lead. She'd seen so many horrifici things while helping out the Black King.... So many Genoshoans just thought this was the right way.

Certainly put slavery in perspective.

Fortunately, she was a damn site powerful telekinetic, and an passable telepath.

The Russian..what was his name? Omega Red? He looked..focused. Like a man with a purpose. Purpose was good. One of her frustrations was how many people lacked a purpose. Perhaps this would offer her something to do than just walk around, freeing people who didn't even realize they were chattel.

Ari looked up at the large man, with his twitching coils, and rage on his face. It was obvious he wished to speak with her- and she was ready to listen. Of course, his English sucked. With a sigh, she touched the man's arm and spoke in his mind ~"This will be easier. Less language barrier. It's only good short distances, but... I'm called Fracture...or Ari..depending on if you want my name, or what I'm called in battle. You are Omega Red....do you have another name?"~

Ari listened to what the larger man wanted and nodded, continung with her telepathy. ~"Help. You seek my help. I'm a telekinetic and telepath...though the former is stronger than the latter. What can I help you with?~" She really, really hoped it was something like maiming. Or killing. Normally you paid her to kill, but she didn't like these emotions..these strong feelings, and she wanted to purge them. The best way to purge emotions was through destruction.

Her grin grew thin and feral when he used the word HUNT. That was what she did. She was a hunter of men, and to have a purpose? Why, it might make the last few weeks worthwhile. Sure, there was the purpose of freeing other mutants, and vengeance was nice, but hunting? She could get behind hunting another human being. ~"Oh, I do. Very much. Tell me about the man with whom we hunt. I can get behind hunting...Think of what he looks like. It'll help. "~ She waited for the man to do what she asked. Once she had an idea of what she was looking for, she nodded. ~"Wait here.'~

Ari went over to the other guards. She began mind raping the guards, one by one, until she found one that knew the person in question. From there, she dug into his brain to look for the WHERE. Once she had that, she head back to Omega Red. ~" Got him."~

Omega Red was not used to people so casually touching him and less having anyone in his head. He hated having others in his head. But before he could even reply, an image came to mind unbidden. A blonde woman with the last vestiges of her once beautiful visage just discernible under her worn out and worn down appearance was standing at the back door of a ramshackle shack. She was calling to a young blonde boy ‘Arkady’. A deep sense of caring infused the memory, the only person he had ever loved, his mother. Omega Red shook his head banishing the errant memory and spoke out loud. “You can call me Red… lomat’*,” he replied in his thick Russian accent.

Omega Red shook his head again, like an angry bull. He was getting more uncomfortable the longer this woman was in his head. There was no denying though that they were communicating so much more efficiently this way. He easily understood what the woman was telling him and a hard almost feral glint came to his eyes upon hearing what she could do. It was the look of one who had caught sign of prey and now was eager for the hunt. Omega Red didn’t believe in luck, fate, or any higher power guiding things, but he couldn’t deny the advantageous opportunity of this khishchnik** being the one he happen to approach.

Suddenly the presence of this woman in his head didn’t bother Omega Red. He could feel through her touch her eagerness and strong desire for a hunt, like a true khishchnik**. His own face split in a feral grin as he recalled the man who sat across the table in that dark dank hole they tried to imprison him in. It was the man who had the gall to try to coerce Omega Red into servitude and into being their slave. It was his last memory before the deep dark of the frozen cold. There was no effort involved in bringing the man’s face to mind. He easily pictured the man and focused his will on the picture trying to strongly push it out towards Ari with his mind.

The sense of HATRED and impending DEATH was strong in Omega Red’s mind. It would be a slow and painful death for the man who called himself ‘The Handler’. Vengeance was not best served cold like the Siberian winter. Revenge was best when it was burning ‘RED HOT’ with HATRED! “This is the man malen'kiy khishchnik***,” Omega Red told Ari, once more out loud because he was not used to talking with his mind. There was a hunger, an eagerness that ran along side the deep hatred in his voice. “He fancies himself a komandir. Thinks himself better then others, especially those that work for him. Thinks himself above it all and untouchable,” he explained in his thick Russian accent.

Omega Red was a little perplexed when the malen'kiy khishchnik*** told him to wait there. The sudden… emptiness in his mind by her absence was a strange and unfamiliar sensation to him. He didn’t understand why he should suddenly feel that way. He watched as Fracture went over to some of guards. She didn’t talk, just touched each one, he watched as she went from one to another. Then she seemed to have picked one. Omega Red watched with fascination as the look of terror formed on the guard’s face and his mouth opened in a silent scream. Interesting, very interesting, he thought to himself.

A feral and fierce grin split Omega Red’s face and a murderous look came to his eyes when the malen'kiy khishchnik*** exclaimed that she had him. His coils flickered out from his wrists, writhing in eager anticipation of feeling the dno zhizni**** within his coils. Omega Red let out a deep growl that rumbled from within his big chest. “Where?” he simply questioned. “Take me to him malen'kiy khishchnik***. Let us HUNT!” he said, unable to keep a hint of excitement from coming out in his voice.

Fracture could work with people well enough - if they were competant. If they weren't, and she could use them in some way? Well, that worked too. Right now, however, she was in a generally foul mood. She'd been locked up, made to shovel shit and had been without her powers - powers she loved for an extended period of time. Oh, and Erik had planned it all. Simply put, she wanted to murder someone, and she really didn't care who.

The Russian was....new. A Challenge. He sounded stupid, but she didn't think he was stupid. Not like George. Nor was he....simple of thought like Vai. Hell, she liked Vi. But he had a mission, and right now she wanted a mission. Her code name was Fracture for a reason.

His real name was Arkady, but he wanted to be called Red - or Lomat. She didn't speak Russian, so Red it was. Hell, he was on her side, so digging in his brain wasn't something she was going to do. Well, until he pissed her off or was incompetent.

But Red gave her what she wanted, and she got to mind melt a bunch of people to get a location. This put Ari into a CONSIDERABLY better mood. Enough that she would tolerate trying to parse his odd sentence structure. She wasn't a do good X-Men; she couldn't make him speak English better. If he didn't want the easy way - fine.

And, oh good. This douchebag was her favorite type of douche nozzles. The type that thought they were above everyone.

And she had a place.

And she had a Hunt.

"Come on, Red, let's go kick some ass..." She started heading off towards one of the other mutant containment camps. It was, if she was correct, one of the ones they kept the psychics. The one she might have ended up in, had it been revealed she had a touch of telepathy. It was a weak telepathy, but it served her purpose.

Her tone was conversational as she walked. Might as well get the basics down. Any person that got in their way, and was sporting Genoshoan anything was just summarily killed. Necks were remarkably weak parts of the body to a telekinetic. "So..do we need any information out of him before you kill him? Is the death a slow death, or a quick one. How do you feel about being flayed alive - him, obviously." Her words were conversational; she could have been asking what he wanted for dinner.

The path led to another building. The guard at the front door tried to shoot them - but what were bullets when you had a telekinetic field? God, it was SO GOOD to just let loose. The guard at the door was killed and she used his hand to gain access. Once inside, she commented, "A control room..." She motioned heading forward and grinned, "After you Red. Time for you to have some fun..." And with that, she took step back and let the large Russian have some fun.

Omega Red was well satisfied with Fracture having been the Brotherhood he encountered and that she was more then willing to lend a hand, in fact her eagerness for something to do would work well with hunting down this ‘HUMAN’ and showing him the error of his ways. He would have been amused if he knew that Fracture thought he wanted to be called lomat’. Because that was her name in Russian, lomat’ meant to break. Omega Red nodded to Fracture as they headed towards another containment camp. “Yes,” he said in his thick Russian accent to the idea of going, as she put it, to ‘kick some ass’. “What is kept there?” he asked indicating the camp they were heading towards.

Omega Red had no problem with killing anyone that got in their way, regardless of what they were wearing or who they were. Anyone who got in the path of his wrath would be eliminated. He shook his head in the negative to Fracture’s question. “No. Nothing to learn from him, only teach him. Teach him the error in trying to subjugate those superior to him,” he replied. Though that could be taken to mean mutants in general like Magneto professed, really all Omega Red meant was that he was superior and the human should never have tried to make him one of their slaves.

Omega Red gave malen'kiy khishchnik* a feral grin. “Quick death is for soldiers who fought well. He is… how you say… dno zhizni**, a low life,” he fumbled just slightly on the translation, but managed to find the words, though English seemed to lack the same despicable nature to the word. “You may amuse yourself with him. I am okay with that. But I would take his life myself. I would feel his life force drain away in my coils,” he explained, a certain grim certainty in his voice. There was a determination to his eyes that promised the man’s death would not be pleasant. While at the same time his coils flickered out writhing like live vipers seeking prey with his anticipation of draining this man. The calm almost cold and casual nature of Fracture’s tone with the conversation didn’t bother Omega Red. He was often just as callous and cold about other’s deaths. And there had been many. But this one, this one was PERSONAL.

Inside the control room was a pair of guards monitoring the security cameras and facing away from the door. With lightning quickness Omega Red’s coils lashed out like striking snakes, each coil grabbing a man by the wrist to prevent them from hitting the alarm. “No need to announce us, we shall find our own way,” he said with a bit of gallows humor to the two guards. His coils jerked them up into the air and pulled them closer, away from their consoles, as the coils twisted entwining their chests and squeezing like a boa constrictor. The air rushed out of them under the pressure and there seemed to be a soft faint glow along the coils as Omega Red drained them of their life force. Their bodies going first weakly limp and then their bodies became emaciated, their rictus visage filled with the horror of their deaths. As he carelessly discarded their bodies, he had noticeably grown larger, now his almost 7’ tall frame was over 8’ tall, thicker, and more muscular.

Omega Red turned and looked down at Lomat’. “I do not feel the need to free these,” he said in his thick accent, indicating the cells pictured on the screens of the control room consoles. “We would only have to fight our way through them to find our prey. We need not the confusion to allow our prey to escape,” he suggested, his eyes glowing red in the dimmer light of the control room. “What say you malen'kiy khishchnik*?” he asked, hoping the Brotherhood wouldn’t be stuck on the idea of freeing the slaves over their hunt.
